ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated and digitally savvy team member to serve as our Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and is experienced in the beauty space. This person has a strong mix of creative and strategic skills with a focus on developing and executing strategies to leverage social media and influencer collaborations to boost brand awareness and engagement. They will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of the about-face brand internally and externally. This role will report to the Creative + Content Director.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Create 30/60/90 day content calendar for each platform that aligns with overall marketing objectives
- Lead content strategy and execution across channels (Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social platforms), creating programming that prompts our consumer to regularly engage with us and share with their community
- Maintain brand story and voice through copywriting to ensure consistency across all Social Media platforms, for a cohesive consumer experience
- Work with the Creative team and 3rd party Creators to plan and develop all content across channels
- Drive and track performance of posts, presenting report results on a consistent basis
- Manage customer interactions on Social Media platforms, responding to comments when appropriate, with prompt response timing
- Partner with the E-comm + Community Manager to help improve the online community of customers across channels
- Manage influencer briefing process and work with them to develop engaging content, ensuring its timely and on-brand
- Build and maintain relationships with influencer community, handling communication and providing guidance
- Coordinate influencer gifting and mailers
- Serve as the subject matter expert that stays up-to-date on trends and tools, suggesting new ways to innovate and enhance our approach
- Manage full briefing and content review process for creator content, and distribution across marketing channels, including paid and organic social media
- Create still and video content for social platforms to supplement the designed content
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in Social + Influencer
- Beauty experience required
- Advanced in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and financial modeling
- Start-up experience in a similar role at a consumer brand preferred
- Experience with creating content for social advertising is required
- Up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices, including competitor activity
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000
