We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Finance to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ad hoc analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and participate in financial decision-making in our fast-paced SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to budgeting/forecasting, waterfall/revenue cycle management in a SaaS environment, M&A/due diligence, and ROI analysis. Proficiency in using Maxio, Mosaic, and Intacct would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- ARR/Revenue Waterfall Management: Design, implement, and manage waterfall models to effectively track the flow of revenue, expenses, and profit across different product lines and customer segments.
- Forecasting & Financial Planning: Work closely with cross functional teams to develop and maintain financial forecasts.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee and optimize the entire revenue cycle from sales to billing to cash collection, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition standards.
- ROI Analysis: Conduct comprehensive ROI analyses to evaluate the financial performance of business initiatives and new pricing structures. Provide actionable insights to drive profitability and growth.
- Building Financial Models: Develop financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis, to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- M&A Due Diligence: When necessary, provide financial due diligence support during mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments.
- Mosaic & Reporting Tools Utilization: Utilize the Mosaic and other reporting tools to manage financial data and perform analytics, ensuring accurate and real-time reporting across various business units.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with executive leadership, sales, and operations teams to provide actionable financial insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial consulting, corporate finance, or financial analysis, ideally within the SaaS or technology sectors.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management, financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of waterfall management and revenue recognition processes.
- Experience using Mosaic or similar financial tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros).
- Familiarity with M&A financial analysis and due diligence processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SaaS Knowledge: Experience in a SaaS business model is highly desirable, including an understanding of revenue recognition and subscription-based business models.
