Day To Day Responsibilities
Take inbound phone calls received to phone queue. Work with computer systems during call to guide conversation and to document the call. Load information from prior authorization request faxes received into in-house computer software. Document properly and route cases according to established guidelines.
Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):
Strong & Clear Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Good ability to use MS Windows based computer & multiple programs at once
Positive attitude and great attendance
Preferred Skills (nice To Have)
- Previous experience in Prior Authorizations and working with CPT & Dx codes
- Experience in call center taking calls from a shared queue.
- Previous experience in healthcare industry, health insurance, doctor's office
