Your Role:
The IT Engineer IV will be responsible for administering and supporting Kubernetes based Container Platforms in the cloud and on-prem. The engineer will be recognized as an expert in Kubernetes and Cloud administration while providing guidance and internal consulting expertise toward integration of multiple systems.
Your work: (Essential responsibilities)
- Develops and implements changes though normal change control processes.
- Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines for technology solutions within their area of expertise.
- Contributes to the development of procedures and process for Disaster Recovery.
- Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's needs.
- Participates in rotating on-call support. Responsible for resolution of service, outages and other service problems during an on-call period.
- On call may occur during standard or non-standard business hours.
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical subject area) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of working experience of networking and databases.
- 6+ years of working experience knowledge of Linux operating system.
- 6+ years of knowledge and expertise of cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes. Including Clusters in cloud and on-prem (AWS EKS, RedHat OCP).
- Experience in automating Kubernetes Cluster and AWS cloud resources.
- Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource. groups, volunteering, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Messaging system like Apache Kafka.
- Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
- Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.
- Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.
What would make us excited about you?
- Working knowledge of Java Application servers like Apache Tomcat.
- Experience and expertise in automation tooling, primarily Ansible Automation. Platform and CloudFormation.
- Experience of source control tools such as Git or BitBucket.
- Understanding of enterprise server security technologies, networking & security protocols, authentication schemes and technologies.
- Experience in Application monitoring, alerting and reporting tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
- Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
- Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.
- Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

The national average salary range for this position is $122,850- $136,500. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full [salary range] for this position across all the states we hire in is $110,520-$164,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.
