Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio are hiring a Support Coordinator. The Support Coordinator is a key member of the BGCNEO support team. The Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations of the Clubs to include HR processes, IT support, purchasing, transportation support, programming and general problem-solving needs.
The Support Coordinator will work as a liaison between the Regional Area & Club Directors and the organization’s Central Programs & Operations and Administration areas to facilitate efficient operations of Club sites. This position will be highly collaborative with the expectation to assist multiple clubs/sites by using effective communication and strong relationships.
The position is full-time, working remotely within the Northeast Ohio region. The salary range for this position is $44,000 - $54,000 annually. Additional Benefits and a generous PTO package is also available. The position reports to and receives direction from BGCNEO’s Director of Club Support Services.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new hires with setup of email accounts, Microsoft Teams; and IT support as needed.
- Provide purchasing support for general operations and non-Club teams to include coordinating “wish list” with managers/directors, creating purchase orders for Clubs, ordering facility supplies, program support supplies.
- May deliver packages to Clubs where needed.
- Serves as contact for Club and non-Club staff questions related to purchasing & supply orders.
- Works with Program & Operations, Administration and RD Administrative staff to maintain awareness and understanding of purchasing expectations and guidelines according to budgets, grants, donations, etc.
- Assist Club and non-Club with IT requests, troubleshoot basic IT challenges and refer to Central IT or partner agency when appropriate.
- Work with Club/non-Club staff to schedule transportation for events, fieldtrips and programs.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the assigned “hub” and provide administrative support for staff at each club and help problem-solve issues for Club staff.
- Works with the program operations staff, maintenance team, Club Directors & vendors to ensure maintenance request tickets are submitted & projects are completed in a timely fashion.
- Partner with Central Programs & Administration teams to ensure programming, administrative functions, HR needs and supplies are delivered to the Clubs efficiently and effectively.
- Promote strong communication and collaboration between club sites in assigned area and assist in facilitating cross-club support and information sharing.
- Implement a cadence of information and feedback flow that allows the Clubs to be well prepared, as well as escalate issues and needs fast and effectively.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Teams.
- Ability to manage transportation scheduling for multiple sites that operate various programs and have various operational needs.
- Demonstrated experience problem-solving and providing feedback to various internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team, volunteers, community groups and other related agencies.
- Excellent project management, administrative, and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
The Support Coordinator is a field position working remotely. This key role will be required to travel to Clubs in an assigned area and attend meetings with the BGCNEO team and other related agencies as needed. The Support Coordinator will be expected to appear in-person when required.
