MDaudit Enterprise, our flagship revenue integrity software platform, enables organizations to reduce compliance risk, risk monitoring, and built-in analytics and benchmarking capabilities while maximizing revenue – all in a single, integrated cloud-based platform. We are currently seeking a Accounting Associate to join our team. We are a completely remote company!
The Accounting Associate is an essential role in supporting the accounting function to ensure timeliness and accuracy in all of the information generated by the Accounting team for use within the broader organization. The Accounting Associate must be based in the Boston Metro West area to retrieve and distribute mail from our Waltham hub.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Credit card and employee expense reconciliations
- Invoice mailing and collections follow-ups
- Payables approvals
- Commission Statements
- Assist with Tax filing: state and local tax and Sales and Use Tax
- Manage tax certificates, contacts and expiration dates using Avalara
- Invoice mailing and collections follow-ups
- Setup Customer ACH Accounts
- Pick Up mail from Waltham location
- Scan and distribute mail to appropriate parties
- Provide documentation, reports and analysis as needed for audits, forecasting and other departmental needs
- Administrative and customer service duties as required for this role

APPLICATION/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
General
- Excellent knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office Suite, Alvara, and other similar software
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Netsuite, Adaptive, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, or DataBlend a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Two-year college degree or equivalent related work experience
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative function (accounting or bookkeeping experience highly preferred)
