This position is for apart-time graphic designer who will join the Chava Communications creative team. The designer will work on both print and digital media. Editorial experience is required. Open to remote work.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, clean design work for Chava’s markets, events, and promotions.
- Assist in the production cycle of our publications
- Editorial and layout design
- Designing, processing, and tracking of ads
- Ensuring that all files are print-ready and exported to the printer
- Meet production deadlines
- Assist other markets with similar tasks when required
- Create digital display ads, web content graphics, and event graphics
- Other projects as assigned by the Art director
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capable of managing feedback and constructive critique of work.
- A robust creative portfolio showcasing a solid grasp of typography, grid-based design, whitespace utilization, and color theory.
- Strong time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining transparent communication.
- Experience with monday.com project management software is a plus.
Compensation
This is a part-time position consisting of 15-20 hours depending on weekly need. The compensation rate will be $18/hour.
