Job Overview
The Assistant Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the Account Service team with the daily operations of multiple client accounts. This position is essential in ensuring the coordination of client projects with creative teams, managing administrative responsibilities, conducting research, monitoring industry developments, and guaranteeing the timely delivery of services. A comprehensive understanding of clients' sectors, offerings, and strategic communication approaches is vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Account Lead in addressing client needs and ensuring the effective execution of projects.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients by delivering outstanding service, providing timely updates, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to facilitate successful project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to adhere to project deadlines.
- Track project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively address challenges.
- Support the creation of creative briefs and lead initial project meetings.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and client meetings, preparing agendas and follow-up action items.
- Generate status reports, client presentations, and other meeting materials.
- Provide administrative assistance, including mailing, courier services, and tracking media and advertising deliverables.
- Serve as a host for client visits and agency events when required.
- Conduct thorough market, competitor, and industry research to generate insights that inform client strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and national media developments relevant to clients.
- Assist in obtaining vendor estimates and preparing project budgets.
- Support billing processes and financial reconciliations related to projects.
Required Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing (experience in an advertising agency is advantageous).
- A degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in managing budgets and timelines.
- Strong team player with the ability to operate independently.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and WordPress CMS is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, with experience in remote work settings.
