Role Description
As our Social Media Marketing Manager, you’ll own the management and growth of Bankroll U’s social media presence across X, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, and beyond. This role is at the core of our community-building efforts, requiring vision, creativity, and real-time execution that will include some weekends. Leveraging a growing internal execution team and real-time data analytics, you’ll use our platform and player insights, along with creative storytelling to position Bankroll U as the go-to platform for sports and sports betting enthusiasts looking to level up their game.
What You'll Do
Our Social Media Marketing Manager will execute our social media strategy, fostering a vibrant and engaged community while showcasing Bankroll U’s unique value proposition and driving new player acquisition.
Social Media Strategy & Management:
- Manage all Bankroll U social media channels, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and messaging
- Work collaboratively with our team to create and implement forward-looking plans to grow our audience, drive engagement, and build brand loyalty
- Engage with micro-influencers to help grow the brand
Content Creation & Collaboration:
- Partner with the content team to develop on-brand, engaging posts, videos, and multimedia content tailored to each platform
- Extract insights from internal data to inform creative storytelling and spark conversations around sports and sports betting
- Design real-time, relevant campaigns and initiatives to capitalize on trending topics and events
- Actively engage with followers, initiate and join conversations, and foster dialogue around sports, betting, and the Bankroll U brand
- Manage our marketing calendar and utilize various tools to ensure an efficient process
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance, and adapt strategies to maximize growth and engagement
- Identify opportunities for improvement and experimentation, leveraging data to drive decision-making
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful social media campaigns
- Positive energy and a can-do mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Social Media, Communications, or related field
- 1-5 years experience
- A passion for sports is a huge bonus!
