We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations in a multi-regional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, or relevant standards as applicable)
- Develop and enforce internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-region operations
- Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models, offering actionable insights and recommendations
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and resolving any findings
- Continuously improve accounting systems, processes, and policies to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Monitor cash flow and funding to ensure operational needs are met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles
- Experience in managing multi-regional accounting functions, including LATAM and U.S. operations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP,
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing remote, multi-cultural teams
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Bilingual is a PLUS (Spanish)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
