The Apollo Art Exchange is an ambitious platform dedicated to celebrating and supporting the arts through education and entertainment. We are building a brand identity that reflects our futuristic vision, inspired by a modern approach to the arts. We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team, helping us craft a distinctive and visually captivating brand image.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to establish and evolve the Apollo Art Exchange’s brand identity. You’ll be responsible for designing a cohesive visual language that embodies a modern Sci-Fi aesthetic with crystalline motifs, ensuring consistency across digital and physical media. This role may also involve close collaboration with our Web Developer and UI/UX Designer to integrate the brand’s visuals into our website, projects, and other assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a unique brand identity, including logo design, typography, color palettes, and visual motifs.
- Design graphics and visual assets for our website, social media, marketing materials, and print.
- Create a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Conceptualize and execute graphics inspired by a modern Sci-Fi, crystalline theme, incorporating futuristic and holographic elements.
- Collaborate with the web developer to integrate branding into the site’s design and functionality.
- Design layouts and templates for the website’s key sections, such as the Home, Blog, Mission, and Staff pages.
- Maintain the brand’s aesthetic through iterative design updates and future refinements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio showcasing branding projects and thematic design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
- Strong conceptual and creative skills with an eye for futuristic aesthetics.
- Experience creating visual style guides or brand identity packages.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take and implement feedback effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing Sci-Fi or Fantasy themes.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and tools like Adobe After Effects.
- Interest in art, education, or non-profit initiatives.
- Knowledge of web design principles to better collaborate with developers.
