About The Role
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy and build a world-class sales organization that will accelerate commercial success. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing the team, and driving overall company revenue.
Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Actively engage in the sales process, influencing deals directly and setting a hands-on culture within the team.
- Team Building: Recruit, onboard, and mentor top sales talent, creating a high-performing and collaborative team that is set up for success.
- Ownership of Sales Targets: Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Proactively address potential shortfalls and course-correct as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on strategy, customer outcomes, and product-market fit.
- Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities. Regularly evaluate and adjust pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Sales Enablement: Implement a structured sales training curriculum and ongoing development for the team, focusing on sharpening sales skills and improving performance.
- Resource Management: Manage headcount and resources efficiently, designing compensation plans that drive performance while keeping customer acquisition costs (CAC) in line.
About You
- Proven Sales Leader: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales leadership experience, with a history of hitting revenue targets and scaling teams in high-growth environments.
- Strategic and Tactical: Able to think strategically while being hands-on in the sales process. You have a clear vision and the ability to lead by example.
- Recruiter and Developer of Talent: You have a knack for identifying, recruiting, and mentoring top sales talent, and you can build a team that reflects your standard of excellence.
- Data-Driven and Results-Oriented: You make decisions based on data and have experience managing sales operations through metrics, dashboards, and forecasts.
- Collaborative Leader: You work well across departments and understand how to partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align goals and enhance customer outcomes.
