Senior Financial Planning Analyst with industry experience to support our client’s financial planning and analysis functions on a contract basis.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$38/hr – $45/hr DOE
Position Overview
As a contract Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior management, the finance team, and other departments to deliver accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Financial Planning Analyst
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and achieve business objectives.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required.
Qualifications For The Senior Financial Planning Analyst
- Must have experience working in the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry.
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- The Senior Financial Planning Analyst must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
