Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the organization's financial success, providing critical insights to support leadership and business partners. This role focuses on building robust financial models, improving forecasting and budgeting processes, and driving data-informed decision-making to optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership and finance teams to review monthly financial results, identify opportunities for cost savings, and enhance operational performance.
- Assist with monthly close activities, including forecasts, variance analyses, and the annual budgeting process.
- Partner with accounting to ensure precise and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare presentations and reports for Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze financial statements, delivering detailed variance (FLUX) insights for cost of sales (COS) and operating expenses (OPEX).
- Build and maintain complex financial models to assess pricing strategies, revenue impact, and overall profitability.
- Use business intelligence (BI) tools to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Develop and monitor financial forecasts, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for budget-to-actual inquiries, providing clear and concise financial guidance.
- Execute ad hoc financial analyses to inform strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience working with financial statements, data consolidation, and enterprise reporting systems.
- Proven ability to design dashboards and report on KPIs.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel modeling expertise and financial analysis proficiency.
- Knowledge of Great Plains, Smartview, Smartlist, PowerBI, or similar BI/reporting tools is a plus.
- Experience creating auditable financial reports with high data accuracy.
