Duties

This permanent position is eligible for 100% local telework. The selectee must reside in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

In this role as a Power Platform/SharePoint Online/Administrator/Developer, the incumbent is member of a team responsible for overseeing SharePoint Online, Teams and the Power Platform at the Library. In addition to the responsibilities defined below, this role will assist the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in expanding our ability to leverage SharePoint Online, Teams and the Power Platform as a platform for developing solutions to meet departmental and organization requirements. The person in this position will assist teams in administering, configuring and developing SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform solutions for Microsoft 365 and support other developers in building solutions that align to governance policy and consult with enterprise architects to determine appropriate use cases for implementing M365 solutions for the organization. Other duties include:

Maintain and execute applicable provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning policies and procedures for SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform solutions.
Develop and customize SharePoint Online and Teams solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), and Power BI.
Administer SharePoint Online site collections, including permissions management, content management, and site configuration.
Configure and maintain integration between SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams, Power Platform, and OneDrive.
Collaborate with agency stakeholders to gather requirements and design innovative SharePoint and Teams solutions that leverage the Power Platform.
Design and implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online, Teams and the Power Platform, including upgrades, migrations, and outages.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, features, and best practices in SharePoint Online, Teams and the Power Platform.

Ability to conduct business and product analyses for SharePoint Online and Power Platform.**

Ability to develop customer-focused, product-based enterprise IT solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform.**

Ability to analyze and develop solutions to organizational and operational issues, requirements, and problems leveraging SharePoint Online and/or the Power Platform.**

Ability to work in an Agile project and product-management process.**

Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.

Additional information

Although it is the Library's policy to afford the maximum pay benefit to employees when setting rates of pay, a new appointee who has had no previous Federal service will generally be paid at step one of the grade.
