About the Role

Are you an experienced electrical technician who enjoys hands-on work, travel, and problem-solving?
We’re seeking a Field Support Technician (Electrical) to support major equipment and systems across the United States — and occasionally abroad. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with travel and career growth.

You’ll typically work on an 8 days travel / 2 days remote or from home rotation, with all travel expenses fully covered.

What You’ll Do

Travel to project sites across the U.S. (and occasionally internationally).
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems — including switchboards, generators, automation systems, and drive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance checks, calibrations, and system testing using manuals and electronic testing equipment.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate data transfer and system performance.
Install and commission electrical systems and controls (PLCs, switchboards, drive systems, Ethernet communications, and more).
Train crew members on electrical safety, maintenance, and operational best practices.
Provide on-call support during off-hours when needed.
Follow all safety and compliance procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What You’ll Bring

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training/Certification: Electrical certification or technical/military training preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
Marine or heavy industrial experience is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and process diagrams.
A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative in the field.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be willing and able to travel 100% (domestic and occasional international).

Pay Range: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
