We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Tax Admin & Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operations of the tax department of a growing Virtual Tax and Advisory firm. Please note, this is NOT your average tax firm that punches out mass returns in a messy tax season flurry. We specialize in advisory and tax planning year-round while providing tax services only to organized clients who fit our model. This role is perfect for someone who is willing to join in on a revolutionized approach to tax accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients and internal team to gather necessary information for tax filings.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax forms.
Organize and maintain tax documents and records for easy retrieval during filing.
Help verify and ensure accuracy of financial records and tax data.
Keep track of filing deadlines and assist with submission of tax forms to meet all deadlines.
Provide administrative support for tax planning activities.
Manage appointments and meetings for the tax team.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience
Experience with QuickBooks Online desired
Proficiency with CRM desired
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other related software.
