Job Description: Bookkeeper/Administrative Contractor (1099)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper/Administrative Contractor to join our team on a 1099 contractor basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients and providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable for multiple clients.
Record and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software (QuickBooks)
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Manage and categorize expenses, invoices, and receipts.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Administrative Support:

Manage correspondence and respond to client inquiries professionally.
Organize and maintain digital files and records.
Prepare and submit client reports or deliverables on time.
Perform other administrative duties to support business operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of financial regulations and tax requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with clients in the short-term rental or real estate industries.
Familiarity with Keeper, VR Platform, OwnerRez, Hospitable, Guesty, etc.

Contractor Details:

Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Location: Remote
Hours: Part-time with flexible scheduling (approximately 20-40 hours per week). Growth is possible to full time.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
