Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of commercial kitchen environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and inspecting kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and optimal operation. This position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills while providing essential services that keep commercial kitchens running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, grease filters, ducts, and fans using specialized tools and cleaning agents.
Conduct inspections of ventilation systems to identify potential fire hazards or mechanical issues.
Utilize schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment during maintenance or repairs.
Operate box trucks for transporting cleaning equipment and supplies to various client locations.
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and electrical components.
Document all service activities accurately, including before-and-after photos, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed and recommend ongoing maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

Prior experience in appliance repair, HVAC, refrigeration, or field service roles is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and electrical diagrams.
Customer service experience with a focus on professionalism and clear communication.
Ability to operate a box truck or similar delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
Basic electrical experience and familiarity with equipment repair are advantageous.
Proven ability to work independently in a field service environment while adhering to safety standards.
