Job Title: Executive Legal Assistant(Probate and Real Estate Planning)

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant or soon-to-be licensed attorney to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, drafting, discovery, and negotiation skills, and will play a key role in assisting with Probate and Foreclosure cases. This position will not involve litigation but will require preparation for potential litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development.

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.

- Collaborate with the team to negotiate and settle Real Estate Defense and Foreclosure cases.

- Prepare litigation materials and assist in strategizing for cases that may proceed to litigation.

- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations concerning real estate and foreclosure defense.

Qualifications:

- Preferred but not required Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; currently licensed or soon-to-be licensed to practice law.

- Strong proficiency in legal research and writing.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Familiarity with Probate and foreclosure processes is preferred.

- Bilingual candidates are preferred, but candidates must demonstrate excellent proficiency in English.

Work Environment:

This is a contract position that offers remote location and full time hour's. The role requires effective collaboration with a remote team while managing individual responsibilities.
