I'm seeking a dynamic, highly-organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to act as my "force multiplier."

By day, I am an Engineering Leader at Okta. Outside of that role, I run two small, growing businesses:

Factory Hill LLC: A real estate development and leasing company.
Astrea Labs LLC: A software research and AI startup.

This is a unique part-time, remote opportunity for someone who thrives on managing multiple priorities and wants to make a tangible impact. You will be my trusted right-hand, bringing order and execution to my business, investment, and personal goals, allowing me to focus on strategic growth.

Your mission is to manage and streamline key operations, giving you direct exposure to real estate, AI, and investment management.

What You'll Own: Key Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to build and refine processes. Key focus areas will include:

Financial & Legal Operations

Serve as the primary liaison with my accountants, lawyers, and financial partners.
Manage bookkeeping, financial tracking, and budgeting for both businesses.
Oversee tax preparation processes, ensuring all deadlines and documentation are handled correctly.
Handle sensitive information and manage all necessary legal/data privacy documentation (e.g., NDAs, contracts).

Real Estate & Operations Management

Act as the primary point of contact for all rental properties managed by Factory Hill LLC.
Coordinate all tenant communications and maintenance requests, dispatching vendors and ensuring timely resolution.
Assist with project management and operational logistics for new initiatives across both companies.

Who You Are: Core Qualifications

Proven EA Experience: 2-3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Operations Manager, with strong references.
Impeccable Attention to Detail: You are meticulous, especially with quantitative data, financials, and scheduling.
Operations & Project Management Mindset: You can independently manage complex, multi-step projects from start to finish.
Exceptional Communication: You have excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills and can confidently liaise with external partners (lawyers, accountants, vendors).
Tech-Savvy: High degree of fluency with modern productivity tools (spreadsheets, project management software) and a readiness to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency.
Absolute Discretion: You understand the sensitivity of personal and financial information. A signed NDA is a non-negotiable requirement of this role.

Preferred Qualifications

A clear understanding of real estate management principles.
Familiarity with basic US business law concepts and corporate compliance.

Role Details

Role: Part-Time Executive Assistant
Compensation: $30 - $50 USD per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: 8-12 hours per week (flexible)
Location: 100% Remote (US-based, Texas preferred)
Growth: This role has opportunities for growth in hours, scope, and responsibility based on performance.
