Position: Remote Entry-Level Bookkeeper

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our growing remote team. Key Responsibilities

Record and organize financial transactions using accounting software.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
Maintain and update the general ledger.
Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
Process invoices, payments, and payroll data accurately and on time.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial data.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus.
Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
