Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote – U.S. Based)

Baystate Advisors Group LLC is a professional services firm providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services for start-ups and small businesses.

We're seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and manage accounting operations for several clients. This is a remote, part-time role with the potential to expand to full-time.

You must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.

What You'll Do

You will provide bookkeeping services for several clients; your responsibilities will include:

Maintain clients' accounting records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Categorize transactions in QBO
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare month-end journal entries, including prepaids and accruals
Manage the month-end close for multiple clients
Prepare month-end financial reports for the clients
Communicate with clients when needed

What We're Looking For

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, prepaids, and accruals
Solid Excel skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client priorities
Located in the U.S. and authorized to work here

Nice to Have: Russian language skills (not required)
