615 Ventures is a Nashville-based investment firm that creates value through the acquisition and management of commercial real estate nationwide. 615 Ventures manages retail, office, industrial, SNTL and residential assets across seven U.S. markets. In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.

As a Senior Accountant at 615 Ventures, you'll be a vital player in our continued growth and success. This role goes beyond managing financial transactions—you'll be expected to proactively address challenges, ensuring that every task is completed, no matter how complex or unexpected the issue. You are someone who takes ownership.

What you'll do

Prepare and analyze financial reports for managers and executives, providing insights for decision-making.
Audit accounts using data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Oversee journal entries and reconciliations for multiple businesses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable across multiple businesses within the portfolio.
Train, mentor, and assist bookkeepers and staff as needed, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
Work closely with the Accounting Manager to assist with various accounting duties, maintaining seamless team collaboration.
Assist with data entry and research to provide financial insights that drive business strategy.
Contribute to research for potential business acquisitions, helping the team assess new opportunities.

Who you are

5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to real estate or acquisition-related accounting.
A problem solver who takes initiative and follows through until the job is done.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Advanced in MS Excel and familiar with financial software (NetSuite or similar) and Google Workspace.
Able to manage fluctuating workloads during acquisitions and deadlines.
A great communicator with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth business integrations.
Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range

We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$63,000—$75,000 USD
